I watch the Daily Show on comedy central, been doing so almost regularly for the better part of a decade, and is another key inspiration for my memes, as well as well the other shows that Spawned from it, the Colbert Report, Nightly Show, and while I don't see it often, Yesterday Tonight. I'm late on this one because I have them DVR'ed but I watched the oldest recording I had, which had to have been from this day last week, and when I got to the interview with Timothy Snyder, Trevor Noah read this quote, and it sounded real as hell to me, but then I got to think about ignoring facts and realize this is the exact shit fanboys do in this fanbase, hence why I put this on a meme.

There's not much I need to add here, I've talked about Facts and Opinion a couple different times, and it usually comes down to the fact that the most opinionated people typically do their best to ignore facts to justify their ignorant arguments, or just flat out lying. Look at how anyone who goes against Sonic Forces or any modern title is said to "can't be pleased" by fanboys when the same people advocated this shit since Shadow the Hedgehog and still pushing the negative notions to this day. Look at fanboys try to go against the sales argument when we all know that without sales, the company as at risk, or at least shows a disinterest in the product in question. Look at how fanboys use the classic or Sonic appearance to justify the modern games being kiddy or bad comedy driven when anyone who played the classics or what made Sonic popular says otherwise. Look at how Adventure fans are called "mean" or "negative" by fanboys when at the same time, they refuse to take responsibility for either what they or the people they defend have put this whole fanbase through for 12 years. Look at how fanboys tell people Sonic shouldn't be taken seriously when they go out of their way to do the exactly that by doing anything I just mentioned.

Seriously, every time I happen upon some smart shit like this, it always goes against what fanboys say. If it weren't for SOJ trying to appease them and the fanboys vice versa, their opinions wouldn't mean jack shit. It's good to know many of these guys are wanna be tyrants and fascists, over a cartoon hedgehog(Their words, not mine).
